Making your own pork pie is easier than you might think and I prefer to use a small quantity of very lean pork, leaving it cubed rather than minced. I think it results in a proper meaty, home made rather than factory produced pork pie. These pies are tasty and you will feel quite accomplished because you are not using the support of a tin.
